An American improvised comedy revolving around the fictionalized depiction of Larry David's life. This television series was produced and broadcast by HBO and was create by Larry David himself. The show also often features guest star, celebrities playing versions of fictionalized version of themselves in varying degrees.

Curb Your Enthusiasm has a flair for getting David into disagreeable situations that alienate him from peers and acquaintances. The plots and subplots of the episodes are outlined by David and to keep it fresh and spontaneous, it is shot without script and the lines are largely improvised by actors as they go.

As the show is about David's life, it often involves his problems with social meetings and expectations and also his annoyance with other people's behavior which lead into awkward situations.

The show's 38 nominations in Primetime Emmy Awards can prove that the show has been popular and successful since it's debut. And in 2002, Curb Your Enthusiasm won the Golden Globe Award for Best Television Series: Musical or Comedy.

An American sketch comedy television series with the topics of  sexuality and Dave Chapelle's usage of racial epithets. The show brought Chapelle's personal joke book to life. The episodes consist sketches, and culture parodies with topics such as prostitution, alcohol, drugs, the entertainment industry, gun violence and music.

"Chappelle's Show" takes comedian Dave Chappelle's own personal joke book and brings it to life, with episodes consisting of sketches, man-on-the-street pieces, and pop culture parodies introduced by Dave in a stand-up format in front of a studio audience. Chappelle's unique point-of-view on the world provides a hilarious, defiant and sometimes dangerous look at American culture, including music, movies, television, advertising, current events, and everyday life situations.

The show opens with introducing Chappelle with the instrumental from the song "Hip-Hop" then he will perform a short stand up in front of live audience which presents the upcoming sketch. The spotlight then shifts to the prerecorded sketch that appears on the screen.

The series premiered on January 22, 2003 on Comedy Central. The show's executive producers were Chapelle, Neal Brennan and Michele Armour and ran for two complete seasons and the curtailed thrid season ''Lost Episodes''.

After great delays, production of the third season was precipitously ended when Chapelle left the show. Compilation of three episodes from the completed work and were aired July 2006. Re-runs of the show air on Comedy Central and various network all over the world. TV Guide ranked Chapelle Show #31 on their list of ''TV's Top 100 Shows''.

A British mockumentary sitcom following staff and the manager as they continue their lives while their office faces closure which lead the company to downsize its branches.

The Office was created, written and directed by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant. Gervais also stars the series as the main character David Brent, the manager of low intelligence and non sense humor who's convinced that he is the best and most entertaining boss of all time. It's first broadcast of the first season in the UK on BBC Two on July 9,2001 has low ratings that almost let to cancellation but did not stop the show to become  one of the most successful of all British comedy exports.

Today the show has been sold in more than 65 countries and it even have remakes in different versions and different languages around the world. In 2001, The Office won the Best New TV Comedy award at the British Comedy Awards and in 2002 the show once again won the award while Gervais won the Best TV Comedy Actor award. The following year, The Office was the first  British comedy to be nominated and win a Golden Globe Award (Best Television Series: Musical or Comedy). Ricky Gervais also received the Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actor in Television Series: Musical of Comedy for his role. He was also the first ever British actor to receive such award in Golden Globe.

The series made two-part christmas specials which was nominated for two Emmys in the categories of ''Outstanding Made for Television Movie'' and ''Outstanding Writing for a Miniseries, Movie or a Dramatic Special'' in 2005.

A British sitcom following the misadventures of two streetwise Wheeler Dealer brothers Del Boy and Rodney Trotter who never stop believing they will become millionaires. They live with their ''grandad'' (until Lennard Pierce, who's the actor portraying the role died) in early years which was later replaced by ''Uncle Albert'', a WWII Navy veteran with long-winded anecdotes for any occasion. Del and Rodeny are harmless black market traders who buy and sell almost anything, mostly the episode of the show based around some defective or stolen stock bought by Del.  The series always have a strong cast of support characters.

Only Fools and Horses was created and written by John Sullivan. Seven series were originally broadcast from 1981 to 1991 in the United Kingdon's BBC One with random Chritmas specials until 2003. the show have regular repeats on Gold and occasional repeats on BBC One.

It has a slow start but after the 1996 “Time On Our Hands” episode, the show became consistent in achieving high ratings. Mentioned episode also have the record for the highest UK audience for a sitcom episode with 24.3 million  viewers which is over a third of the population that time.  The series won myriad of awards including recognition from BAFTA, the Royal Television Society and National Television Awards, and was even nominated in 2004 BBC poll's Britain's Best Sitcom.

It also had significance on British culture with several words and phrases contributions to the English language. It generated a broad range of merchandise, from books to DVDs, toys and even  board games. A spin-off series ''The Green Green Grass'' was also created which has four series in the Uk from 2005 to 2009 and a prequel ''Rock & Chips'' with three specials in 2010 nd 2011. BBC recently annouced that the 2014 edition of its ''Sport Relief'' will start brodcasting on March 21 of this year which features a new Only Fools and Horses sketch.

An American sitcom that follows the lives of six young friends living in Manhattan, New York as they navigate their path through life as they approach their thirties. With the aid from each other to get through the bumps that life commonly has.

Friends was created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman. The premiere was aired last September 22, 1994 on NBC and lasted for ten season with consistent raking in top ten in primetime ratings. The series finale which was aired May 6, 2004 was a big hit, around 52.5 million American watched the show, making it the fourth most watched series finale in television history and the most watched episode of the decade.

Friends became one of the most popular sitcoms of all time with positive reviews throughout its run. It's one of the finest shows in television history according to critics and was ranked #21 on the list of the 50 greatest TV shows of all time by TV Guide. "The One with the Prom Video" episode was ranked #100 on TV Guide's Greatest Episode of All Time in 1997. And in 2013, Friends was included on the Writers Guild of America's 101 Best Written TV Series of All Time fillinf it's spot at #24. The series also won numerous awards with 63 Primetime Emmy Awards nominations, winning six. Friends also received one American Comedy Award, one GLAAD Media Award, one Golden Globe Award, three Logie Awards, six People's Choice Awards, one Satellite Award and one Screen Actors Guild Award.

An American sitcom about the adventures - the adult world of work and relationships of “the gang”, a group of four self-centered friends with slightly arrogant attitudes who run an unsuccessful Irish bar named Paddy's Pub in Philadelphia. Unluckily, their distort views and uncertain judgments often lead them to trouble, creating endless of distressing situations that usually only become worse before they become better.

It is an American sitcom that premiered on August 2005 on FX and the new episodes were moved and aired on FXX while the reruns play on Comedy Central. The creator of the show was Rob McElhenney, who was also the producer along with Glenn Howerton and Charlie Day, all of whom who star the show.

It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia was rated TV-MA due to strong, explicit language including ethnic and racial slurs, sexual content: nudity and references to sex, crude humor about abortion, suicide, racism and death, comic violence and scenes of drug abuse.

The show also received nominations over the years for various awards such as People's Choice Award, Primetime Emmy Award and Satellite Award.  Last 2011, the show won the Satellite Award for the Best Television Series: Comedy or Musical category.

An American adult animated sitcom about the bizarre life of four derisive grade-schoolers in the quiet dysfunctional town of South Park, Colorado. It was created and produced by Matt Stone and Trey Parker. Ant it’s famous for its coarse language, slapstick-style, off-color, surreal humor and black comedy formats that satirizes a wide range topics.

South Park first aired its successful episode last August 1997 and since then has consistently earned high ratings and though it varied, it remained one of Comedy Central’s highest rated shows and is lined up to air through at least 2016. The pilot episode was produced using cutout animation then all subsequent episodes are created with software that resembles the cutout technique, providing a similar look to the originals while requiring a fraction of the time to produce.

It was the first weekly program to receive the TV-MA rating with characters using strong profanity, with only the most taboo words being bleeped by censors during a typical broadcast. Creators claim that usage of such language in the program serves to display how young boys talk when they are alone. Carnivalesque and absurdist techniques, numerous running gags, violence, sexual content, offhand pop-cultural references, and satirical portrayal of celebrities are also commonly use in South Park.

Though the show has raised criticism and controversies, the series has received numerous awards including five Primetime Emmy Awards, a Peabody Award and inclusions in various publications' lists of greatest television shows. Less than two years after the show’s premiere, its success and popularity resulted in a feature-length film “South park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut” which was released in June 1999. TV Guide also ranked the South Park the tenth Greatest TV Cartoon of All Time in 2013.
